For the purpose of helping God’s people become perfect in Christ (Colossians 1:28; Ephesians 4:13-15) For the purpose of equipping the disciples for the work of God’s Kingdom (1 Corinthians 12:7; Romans 12:4, 5) For the purpose of building the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:12-16; 1 Corinthians 12:27, 28)
Worshiping God together, and confessing Jesus Christ as our Lord.
Because we have been created for His glory (Psalm 86:12; Isaiah 60:21; 1 Corinthians 6:20; 10:31; Revelation 4:11) Because we have been called to magnify God’s glory (Psalm 34:3; 96; 138; 69:30; Ephesians 1:6, 12, 14) Because God’s work in us must be declared (Psalm 40:9, 10; Psalm 71:16-19; Philippians 2:10-11; Ephesians 3:10-11)
Preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, for the purpose of bringing people to Christ.
So that we may fulfill the great commission (Matthew 28:18-20) So that people may come to the saving faith in Jesus (1 Timothy 2:3-5; John 20:31) So that the Kingdom of God may expand (Mark 6:15; Matthew 24:14)
